ST ALOYSIUS INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE, MANGALORE-575003
ITI Darshan
Industrial training Institutes offer play a very important role in forming the technical workforce which is a backbone of any industry. Hence, there are number of excellent job opportunities to the technically skilful persons. Government of India’s ‘Skill India’ initiative also has given extra edge to the ITIs. As per various studies, the unemployment problem which is prevalent in India is not because there are no vacancies, it is simply because education given is not in-line with the requirements of the industry. ITIs play a very important role in bridging this gap. St Aloysius ITI is considered one of the best ITIs in the field of technical education. It has collaboration with number of industries like Hyundai Motors, TATA Motors, Jaquar, etc. As a result, youth here are trained in-line with industrial requirements which makes them highly competitive and enhances their employability significantly. But, public in general has no proper awareness about the industrial training institutes. To make the youth aware of the career opportunities available in ITIs, an initiative “ITI Darshan” has been taken up by St Aloysius ITI. This initiative is planned as a part of 450th birth anniversary celebration of St Aloysius Gonzaga, patron of the institution.
