Jaquar Group Partners with the St Aloysius ITI
Mangaluru, October 26, 2017: Jaquar Group, the leading manufacturer of bath fittings in India, with a presence in over 40 countries, announced its partnership with the St Aloysius ITI in Mangaluru to run one of the most effective plumber training programmes.
The new Sani-tech Lab which was designed and donated by M/S Jaquar & Co Pvt Ltd was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mrs Mamatha Gatty- Secretary, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committeee in the presence of Mr. Ajay Mahajan– Global Head Customer Care, Jaquar and Co Pvt. Ltd. & Rev. Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ– Rector, St Aloysius Institutions.
As a part of the programme, Jaquar Group will train 30 plumbers per batch and 100 plumbers over a period of one year at the institute and 3 months of on the job training. The individuals will be imparted the skills of a trained plumber through on ground teaching and execution of mock instances. Once the training is completed, Jaquar Foundation will provide uniform and tool kit to the trainees basis certain defined criteria (who possess 90% attendance during the course& basis academic performance). Moreover, Jaquar Group will facilitate job opportunities through dealer’s network or builder’s projects for the deserving candidates.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Mr Shekhar poojary- H.O.D. of C&F shipping and representatives of M/S Jaquar & Company Pvt Ltd. Students presented a colourful cultural show. Principal Mr Vincent Mendonsa extended a cordial welcome and Mr Romius Dsouza- convener of the programme proposed vote of thanks. Mr Robin Vas compeered the programme.The programme was concluded by the National Anthem. Sweets were distributed to all.

Student Council Inauguration

Student Council for the year 2017-18 was inaugurated by planting a sapling in the pot in the presence of the Chief Guest Mrs Mamatha Gatty- Secretary KPCC and Rev Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ- Rector, St Aloysius Institutions. Dignitaries along with the Director Rev Fr Eric Mathias SJ, Principal Mr Vincent Mendonsa and a parent Mrs Neefa Dsouza watered the plant. The officials and members of the council took the oath to works selflessly for the welfare of students and betterment of the institution. Addressing the gathering Mrs Mamatha Gatty said, “This institution is taking lot of initiatives for the welfare of students. Students who study in this institution are lucky because they get an environment which facilitates their all round growth. Show the dedication in your work and be successful”.
