A 2-days Campus interview conducted by renowned Auto Major M/S Ashok Leyland company was very successful. The company is on a recruitment drive for recruiting candidates to their unit at U.A.E. In these times of lesser employment opportunities, this presented a wonderful opportunity to the job seekers as the recruitment was done directly by the Employer itself. The interview received a very good response from aspiring job seekers and candidates flocked in from across the state and also from other states like Kerala and Tamilnadu. St Aloysius Industrial Training Institute had made all the arrangements for the smooth conduction of the selection process. Facilities for the candidates like Registration & Information facility, Breakfast and lunch facility, toilet facility, etc were provided for the convenience of the candidates. Facility for freshening up and accommodation for the day was provided for the candidates who arrived from distant places. Staff members of the institution happily assisted and guided the candidates. Initiative by the institution to help the job seekers and the facilities provided were appreciated by the candidates. “Employment is very important to lead a life of dignity and fulfil financial obligations. By this initiative we are helping the job seekers to get employed and build their life”, said Rev Fr Eric Mathias SJ- Director of the institution. Out of the candidates who came to try their luck, 304 got registered themselves and faced the interview. Delegates who conducted the interview expressed satisfaction over the arrangements done by the institution and also the quality of the candidates.
